About DJ Lexie
Alexandra (aka. DJ Lexie) has performed at several nightclubs in the Kristiansand and Oslo area, including Det Gode Selskab, Klubb Kosmos, Halvøyafestivalen, and Bass Rave. She has done live remixes at the Punkt festival collaborating with Jan Bang, Erik Honoré, and DJ Strangefruit. She composed the film score for one of visual artist Lasse Årikstad's non-narrative films.
JEJUNE
Attending the music program at Vågsbygd Videregående Skole (high school), she started the post-punk band JEJUNE with four other students. The band got signed to Oslo-based record label Braveheart Records, founded by Mikhael Paskalev, Billie Van and Jonas Alaska. Alexandra made important contributions on lead guitar and synth on their EP and debut album, "Japanese Sports Car." She left shortly after the release of their debut album, instead focusing on her DJ-career and electronic music production, as well as finishing her Master's degree.
